Meet Laura Sanchez-Ramirez
Statement
New challenges in Lakewood need new solutions.
For many years, Lakewood residents have endured: Increased Criminal Homeless Encampments, Decreased Traffic Safety Along Lakewood Boulevard, Reduced Safety at Lakewood Mall, Increased Property Thefts
It’s time to restore the Quality of Life in Lakewood we once knew.
As your Council member I will focus on: Increased Public Safety, Safe Traffic Measures, Balanced Taxpayer Budget, Cooperative Regional Homeless Solutions
Lakewood residents entrusted me to bring new solutions to difficult challenges as your Bellflower Unified School District Board Member since 2005.
I successfully balanced our budget and supported modernizing our school campuses providing our students the same facilities and access to technology as other students throughout California to compete in today’s global economy.
I’m proud to serve and have served in many Lakewood civic groups, including: Soroptimist International, Friends of Lakewood Libraries, Pan Am Association, Miss Greater Lakewood Girl Scout Leader, California School Boards Association, Pathways Volunteer Hospice
My husband and I have four grown children proudly raised in Lakewood.
